Apology

I apologized at last week’s wrap-up of only two of the intended four Aces. I was sorry to leave you on the cold marble floor between the two sets of pillars, but I had taken care of so much “housekeeping” in that post that I would have lost your patience and a lot of readers’ attention had I continued on.

After all, I am me so I may still interrupt myself with a paragraphical ramble here and there, but I plan on finishing up with the Ace of Cups and the Ace of Pentacles.

Let us begin.

Ace of Cups

I love the Ace of Cups. It is a spiritual card but in its nascent form. That is, with the hand coming out of the cloud, it reveals unlimited potential in the area of the full flowering of emotion and spirit.

We notice the hand that comes out of the cloud is resting the cup gently in its palm. Once again, we are reminded that a card’s fuller meaning can only be realized by comparing it with other cards of the same suit.

Notice the difference in grips between the Swords and Wands and the Cups and Pentacles. Now, take in the subtle differentiation in the placement…
