How to use Polyup for Back to School
Summer has come to an end and school is back in session! Polyup has probably crossed your mind once or twice this summer, and you may have even created an account and started to mod(ify) some Poly Machines! But, like most other teachers who are new to Polyup, you may be wondering, “How do I get started?” or “How do I use Polyup with my students?” We’ve got you covered!
Polyup can be used in the classroom in many different ways. You can use Polyup as a warm-up or cool-down tool, as an engagement tool, to give your students a different perspective, after a test, during lessons & presentations, as homework, for extra credit, and more! The beauty of Polyup is that YOU fit it into your lesson plan where you need it the most. It is totally customizable to both you and your students’ needs.
Here are the resources that you should utilize to be successful with Polyup:
- First we have Teacher Tutorials! Teacher Tutorials is a new addition to Polyup, it is a special site that is more structured to help guide you when using Polyup in your classrooms! These interactive tutorials will take you through the ropes of Polyup’s quirks and features created for teachers.
- We also have an in-depth Polyup Teacher’s Guide that provides a high-level overview on Polyup, video tutorials to see Polyup’s usage live, and a Polyup’s User Manual for reviewing some of Polyup’s more advanced features!
- Next up is Polyup Presentations! A Poly Presentation puts a Poly Machine side-by-side with a Google presentation. This gives you and your students the opportunity to tackle word problems, geometry, and more!
