From June 25th-June 27th, Polyup attended the annual International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE) conference in Chicago, Illinois. With over 18,000 teachers, administrators, and EdTech professionals attending, the conference was a breeding ground for exchange of technology products to revitalize the classroom. Over the course of three days, 1500 teachers, technology specialists, administrators, and superintendents were exposed to Polyup.

Next time, we’ll make sure to get a bigger booth :)
Polyup was one of the most visited booths among more than 500 booths at ISTE!

Polyup partnered with Cisco Education, iSchool Initiative, and Illinois Computing Educators (ICE) for ISTE. Not only did Polyup have their own buzz-worthy booth, but attendees could find mBot robots mod(ifi)ed by Polyup at the ICE booth, and at Cisco’s Learn without Limits conference program. Many were found playing with Poly while awaiting talks given by Cisco and iSchool Initiative.

So many people were crowding around our booth that we adjusted to a “group demo” format, like above!

The Polyup booth was quite the show stopper, with over 1,500 participants stopping by to learn more about Polyup. For ISTE, attendees had the chance to win multiple prizes by “Choosing their Poly Adventure.” Almost all participants (1234, to be exact) went through a five to ten minute demo to get a hands-on look at Polyup. Hundreds of participants took a picture with Poly and posted it to social media, in exchange for a Poly t-shirt!

We were excited to bring some of our amazing Poly Pro’s with us again — Angela Tseng, Arno Babahekain, and Betsy Kalkwarf — all math teachers form southern California who use Polyup with their students! Our Poly Pro’s helped guide over 1,200 curious EdTech Professionals through each demo, showing them how to use Polyup and sharing how it has influenced their classroom. A special Thank You to these amazing educators who joined us to spread the Polyup movement!
