Poolz KYC Step by Step Guide
As a leading launchpad in the DeFi space, we are fully committed to ensuring the safety of our Poolz community members. Many projects have KYC requirements. In order to provide our services for the foremost up and coming projects and bring the highest quality Tier 1 projects in the launchpad space, we are updating our KYC requirements to make sure that we are abiding by the rules and regulations that investors may face in their country or region.

When Should I Submit KYC?
As soon as possible. KYC requirements will be effective on April 12th. As of this date, some Poolz IDO’s will require KYC to be completed through Blockpass in order to participate. This allows the Poolz platform to offer a wider array of IDO’s to our communities by offering both projects that require KYC and ones that do not.
Members who do not wish to verify their identity can still hold POOLZ tokens and participate in sales for projects that do not require KYC. Each project will determine its KYC requirements.
How do I get started?
Submitting your KYC application is easy and will only take a few steps. We provided instructions to help you through each step of the process. To begin, there are a few items you will need to have ready:
- Passport (preferred), National ID, or Driving License
- Proof of Address
- A valid email address
- Identity Information (Name must match the proof of identity), Date of Birth, Address, Phone Number
- A camera to take a selfie
- Ethereum address

The KYC process is very simple and quick to go through, but we recommend you complete the KYC earlier than later. If you leave it last minute before an IDO start time you might miss out on the IDO itself. The approval process takes about 1-2 days, so please be patient, and you will receive a confirmation email once the process is finished.

✅ Getting Started Step by Step ✅
Step 1:
Navigate to our KYC Link HERE.
Step 2:
To get started, select the Verify with Blockpass button.
Step 3:
Make sure to have your required documentation ready, review the age and location requirements, then select Start.
Step 4:
Enter a valid email address. A ‘magic link’ will be sent to your email address. Click on the link to verify the email address to continue.
Step 5:
Select your Verification Document. You will need to allow Blockpass to access your camera to take a photo. Ensure that there is sufficient lighting, the text is clear and not mirrored.
Step 6:
Take a clear picture of the chosen identity document (passport, national ID, or driving license). The system will convert information on the document into machine-coded text. Confirm the details are correct and continue.
Step 7:
Take a clear selfie-style picture of yourself, positioning your face in the frame. Make sure you have enough lighting and do not wear a hat or sunglasses.
Step 8:
Upload a proof of address document — a document that shows the address you are trying to verify, issued within the last 3 months. It can be a utility bill, government-issued document, or a bank statement.
Step 9:

The KYC verification process should be complete within 1 day. You will receive an email to the email address you provided in your KYC form when your KYC is approved or rejected along with any rejection reasons.

Poolz KYC FAQs
W have put together some FAQs about the KYC process on Poolz.
1. Is KYC required for all projects
Answer:
No, only for projects that request it.
2. Why is Poolz requiring KYC?
Answer:
Poolz is not requiring KYC. There are various projects that require KYC for their public sale. Prior to our KYC integration, they could not conduct an IDO on the Poolz platform. Our new partnership now allows more projects to conduct their IDOs on the Poolz platform. This new integration is not taking any IDOs away. IDOs who don’t require KYC can continue to conduct their public sale on the platform as well.
3. What language is accepted for my KYC documents?
Answer:
Identification documents such as Driver’s License, National ID, Passports, the international standard is applied. These documents are already in English, so please submit them as is.
For proof of address verification, we have worked with our provider to ensure you can submit your documents in your local language as long as your name and address on the document match your identity document.
4. I don’t want to go through KYC; can I still participate in IDOs
Answer:
Sure! KYC is a requirement that varies from project to project. Many projects do not have a KYC requirement, so you can continue to participate in those projects.
5. I just staked my tokens! Will I still be able to participate in IDOs without going through KYC, or if I don’t meet the KYC restrictions?

6. I have already completed KYC with Blockpass before, do I need to go through the process again for IDOs on Poolz?
Answer:
Yes, if you completed KYC on another platform, you still need to complete the process through the Poolz Blockpass link.
However, once you complete the KYC process through the Poolz platform, you won’t be required to repeat it for every IDO. The one-time process applies to all IDOs that require KYC.
7. Do we have enough time to complete KYC for Raze?

That said, we are working with our IDO partner and KYC partner to see if we can work out a solution to provide more time for participants. Rest assured, we will do everything we can to take care of our community, including extending the KYC time for the upcoming IDO by 4 more days until the project’s DEX listing.
