Populstay: Overview of December
We all have entered 2019, now let us reflect on the past month!
Thanks to the support of our PopulStay fans, we are ready to present a quick progress report about the activities of Populstay in December, so that everyone could know more about the project.
We will summarize the progress of Populstay in terms of our product, community, and events.
Product
In December, Populstay opened user registration. Now you can get your real-name certification, invite your friends, and receive PPS rewards. The project has attracted more than 20,000 registered users so far.
The top 30 users (on the 8th of January, 2019) will share a prize!
The MVP of the product will be released in 2019, and the first batch of nearly 1,000 listings will be disclosed for booking. The PPS rewards obtained for the user registration can be used on the platform for booking the properties.
Community
In December, PopulStay distributed 3.5 million PPS to reward users who made an important contribution to the community. PPS was sent to super nodes, promoters, AMA and Bounty participants, etc.

The Populstay team members are doing their best to be responsive, to interact with users and listen to their feedback. Every day the community managers post “Popustay news”, “Industry news” and “Global blockchain information”. Check it here!
Besides, Ask Me Anything Q&A session is held every 2 weeks.
In December, there were 25 super nodes (angels) in the Chinese community and 20 super nodes in the English community! This helped the project attract more than 55 thousand users to one of our groups — official English-speaking group.
In fact, super nodes are an important part of the Populstay eosystem, and they will certainly enjoy some returns from the project. Populstay continues to recruit like-minded partners!
Besides, on December 16, the Populstay team conducted a survey to understand the users’ needs and move to the next step in a more targeted manner. The research lasted for a week, and the team received thousands of responses. We thank all the participants.
Events
On December 8, Huobi University opened in Hainan. Dr. Walter Wang, the founder of Populstay, went to Hainan for a three-day training as a student of Huobi University. Instructors of GBLP included the author of “Blockchain Revolution: How the Technology Behind Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies Is Changing the World”, the founder of Artificial-Intelligence Research Center, and the deputy dean of Research Institute of Information Technology (Tsinghua University).
On December 11, PopulStay was selected as a participant for NEXT LAB Investment and Financial Matchmaking Conference. At this conference, the founder of a project and several decision makers from investment institutions get together for a roundtable discussion.
The decision makers can give an investment intention card to the founder of a project based on the founder’s performance.
Fortunately, Populstay received such intention cards from a good number of investment institutions
On December 21, Dr. Walter Wang, the founder and CEO of Populstay, took on the challenge of Ask Me Anything in our English-speaking Telegram group. The main topic was the product.
