MUMEI is a frictionless platform with various tools that aims to create an ecosystem around the BNS standards. Where any users can easily interact with BNS, such as creating a simple decentralized website (DWeb) or connecting their ENS to a default resolver. (https://resolver.portal.network)

All of these tools are designed specifically for ‘user adoption’. To empower non-technical user and token holders to have a direct interaction with blockchain protocols and multiple decentralized tools.

For example, a ‘Marketplace’ that allows users to easily buy, sell, or bid cross-chain BNS, a ‘Domain Manager’ that enables users to connect BNS with a wallet, smart contract, or ÐWeb, as well as manage multiple BNS create subdomains (e.g. ‘about.chris.eth’) and transfer domains, and an ‘Extension’ that turns let you view ÐWebs with ease on Google Chrome.

Try visiting a decentralized website for yourself

Go to ‘Google Chrome Store’ and download the latest ‘MetaMask’ extension. Then, simply enter a decentralized domain like ‘christophershen.eth’, and that’s it. The website you viewed is stored on IPFS with a decentralized domain name (.eth), and accessed via the decentralized network of Ethereum.

“Visiting decentralized websites shouldn’t be hard — it should be easy and frictionless. That’s how we at Portal Network aim to increase user adoption.” — Christopher Shen

  • Domain Manager
  • Create, manage, host, and connect your BNS all in one place.

For BNS, all data is stored in the smart contracts based on the blockchain, making it complicated for users to interact with. This is why Portal Network built a domain manager that helps users to manage their BNS with ease. With Portal Network’s Domain Manager system, users can choose a BNS resolver, transfer their domains, bind contract and wallet addresses with the domain, and even store the IPFS hash in it. Users can also create multiple subdomains with one BNS, such as ‘about.portalnetwork.eth’ and ‘main.portalnetwork.eth’. The domain manager empowers users and developers to focus on building their product, rather than figuring out complex decentralized infrastructures. Each subdomain can also have a unique address and smart contract for different purposes.
