HESTA is the industry super fund for health and community services. Since 1987, HESTA has grown to become the largest super fund dedicated to this industry. More than 800,000 members have invested $33 billion in assets with HESTA.

Challenge

The super fund was undergoing a rebranding in 2016 and at the same time wanted to refresh the main website as well as several industry awards websites. I was the Experience Lead on this project

Solution

Existing and new user research guided us through the project. The client appreciated the speed I delivered tangible results and combined HESTA’s requirements with user needs. This gave stakeholders a very good insight into the direction and assured them of the outcome.

  • Workshops and ramp-up sessions with the client
  • Gathering secondary and primary research insights
  • Definition of relevant user stories
  • Restructure of the sitemaps for all sites
  • Validation of the navigation with user testing (card sort)
  • Translating user and business requirements into wireframes
  • Mid-fi interactive prototype in Axure.
  • Presentations and workshops with the client
  • Support of Art Director and Junior Art Director in visual design phase
