Portkey Supports USDT Deposits From TON
Send USDT from TON and receive it in your Portkey account directly!
Portkey is excited to announce a major update that significantly enhances your asset management experience. We now support seamless token deposits from The Open Network (TON), allowing you to send USDT directly from your TON wallet address to your Portkey account.
With this update, Portkey now enables frictionless cross-chain transfers across 10 major networks: aelf, Ethereum, Tron, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Arbitrum One, Solana, Polygon, Optimism, AVAX C-Chain, and now, TON. While most of these chains support USDT deposits, some, like Ethereum, also allow deposits of other tokens, including ELF and SGR.
Upon deposit, you can either receive USDT directly in your Portkey account or effortlessly swap it for ELF, SGR, or ACORNS. This bridging and swapping feature not only streamlines your operations but also minimises the risk of incurring higher transaction fees due to price fluctuations.
The “Deposit” button is conveniently located on the Portkey home screen for easy access.
Once you enter the deposit page, you can select the network and token you wish to use. While USDT is supported across all networks, you can also check if other tokens like ELF or SGR are available on your chosen chain.
Next, in the “To” section, select whether you want to receive assets in your MainChain or SideChain account. Then, enter the amount you wish to send from the source chain, and you’ll get an estimate of how much you’ll receive on the target chain. Note: Most assets have broader uses on the SideChain. For example, SideChain USDT can be used to provide liquidity and earn rewards on DEXes; SideChain ELF can purchase NFTs in marketplaces; SideChain SGR can generate 404 cat NFTs in Project Schrodinger; and SideChain ACORNS can buy more gaming opportunities in Hamster Woods.
You’ll then receive a deposit address for the source network. Send the specified token to this address, and you’ll soon receive the asset you want in your Portkey account.
This update marks a significant advancement in simplifying cross-chain asset management while expanding the range of networks supported by Portkey. Users can now enjoy even greater convenience and flexibility in sending and receiving USDT and other popular assets — all powered by the all-in-one Portkey solution!
If you already have the latest version installed on your device, the above feature will be automatically updated in the Portkey App/extension after you close Portkey and reopen it.
