PIE 2022: Save the date(s)
Following the completion of PIE’s first fully virtual class in 2021, we took the opportunity to step back, reassess our programming, and prepare for what we had hoped would be a triumphant return to in-person startup accelerator classes.
The pandemic, unfortunately, has had other ideas. (But we planned for that, too.)
So now that 2022 is here, we’re excited to launch our latest version of the ongoing PIE experiment. And while it will be forced to be virtual again, we remain hopeful that a return to in-person is not too far out of the question, at some point. And we’re excited to share a brand new PIE experiment in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, we thought it would be helpful to share some upcoming dates for you to track if you’re interested in participating in PIE — or if you’re simply interested in learning more about the amazing companies coming out of the PIE programs, this year.
- Jan 26: PIE Q&A session for prospective applicants 🙋♀️
- Feb 14: Applications for PIE, PIE Consumer, and PIE Shop open 🟢
- Mar 14: Applications close (No extensions, this year!) 🔴
- Apr 04: Zoom interviews with selected startups begin ❓
- Apr 22: Zoom interviews complete 🔚
- May 02: Selected startups informed 🎉
- May 16: PIE classes begin (virtual) 📚
- Oct 12: PIE Demo Day 2022 👩🎓
Bear in mind that if we learned one thing going through all of this, it’s this: all dates are subject to change. But we would rather you have tentative dates than no dates at all.
So if you’re building a company in the SaaS/mobile space, you’re creating an interesting hardware solution, or you’ve got a consumer product — like food, a beverage, or a line of apparel — that’s generating some revenue, please get ready to submit your application in a month or so.
