This superstar GP team joined us again, to share their origin story of Refashioned Ventures. Lisa’s background in circular fashion and Brian’s in analysis and supply-chains, guided them toward their thesis of The World is a Supply Chain. They shared stories about their origins growing up abroad, and how it’s informed their views on a more people centric focus on basic services and the environment.

They shared some of the experiences they’ve had as new emerging managers with a rolling fund, pitching pre-pandemic, versus what it’s been like with the world emphasizing the need for more sustainable logistics. We also chatted about the industry need for more early stage investors who aren’t chasing shiny objects, pushing the needle on emphasizing enduring companies.

The Founders who came to stage focused on sustainability primarily, and asked many important questions around scaling and integrating supply-chain considerations in their story telling, but also in their operations. Lisa and Brian are both candid and helpful to all Founders. The community loved all of their kind spirited feedback, and we all look forward to the next session!
