Such a joy to interview Laurel at Fabric Ventures, live on Twitter Spaces with the posi2ive community. She took us way back to her first experiences discovering she wanted to be a lawyer, after growing up in Los Angeles — inspired by her parents who lived on a commune and were in the import/export business. She found herself going to an ivy league school, getting both an MBA/JD at Rutgers. She quickly discovered her passion for business, running an family SMB with 50+ people under management.
For the past 15 years she’s been a leader in all things marketing and branding via Elevate My Brand, and shared some outstanding knowledge about digital marketing and strategies around different marketing channels she feels are overlooked. We were so impressed by her helpfulness and willingness to lean into complex situations with Founders in the community.
Laurel believes strongly in teaching Founders to stand in their own power, and provides such a great toolset to help them create emotional pull through brand building, marketing, and early investment.
