It’s truly delightful when a batter manages to get a hit off a pitch they have no business making contact with in the first place. Vlad Guerrero made a habit of it and there was also that time Miguel Cabrera did it while the other team was attempting to intentionally walk him.
Last night, Nick Ahmed joined the fun when he doubled on a pitch that bounced before it reached the plate.
Apologies to Cardinals fans but this is just too much fun to watch.
