Spread the love and you spread the joy. To be a truly fulfilled, positive person, one must thoroughly embrace compassion. So how do we cultivate compassion? How do we make sure that at the end of the day, it’s our kindness and compassion for which we’ll be remembered?

As much as we all agree that compassion is one of the most valuable of virtues, it seems to be in short supply in our world. We talk about it, but so many among us fail to act upon it — we want to be kind and good, but we struggle to live out that kindness in our actions. I guess the truth of it is, you simply just do it — you let go of anger, fear and hatred and you take that leap of faith, vowing to be a compassionate person in words and in actions.

We’ve found some thought-proving quotes on love and compassion and hopefully, one or all of them will inspire you to live a life centered around love and goodness.

“Compassion is the antitoxin of the soul: where there is compassion even the most poisonous impulses remain relatively harmless.” — Eric Hoffer
