There are some folks who believe that animals are simple, unintelligent, unfeeling ‘creatures.’ To these people, animals are just sort of ‘here’ and aren’t as important as humans. However, people who believe this, are wrong. In fact, they’re very wrong.

Science is proving every day that animals are in fact, very intelligent and that like we humans, they have feelings. Animals are fully capable of giving and receiving love, they have feelings of joy, sadness and even anger. As it turns out, animals even have compassion — and their compassion extends to other animals, as well as toward humans.

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

Please brighten your day by taking a few minutes to watch the sheer delight on baby Lulingu’s face — this little Gorilla helps to prove even further, that animals deserve our total love and, protection. Enjoy!

“Compassion for animals is intimately associated with goodness of character, and it may be confidently asserted that he who is cruel to animals cannot be a good man.” ― Arthur Schopenhauer
