Submission Guidelines for Positivity Powerhouse
Join the Positivity Powerhouse, a publication dedicated to promoting positivity and joy.
Do you have a personal story or experience that inspires others?
Are you interested in becoming a writer for the Positivity Powerhouse?
We welcome you to share your words and ideas with us as we strive to spread happiness and positivity throughout the world.
We are seeking the following contributions for our publication:
- Personal stories and life experiences that impart valuable lessons.
- Self Improvement
- Self Care Advice
- Relationships
- “It Happened to Me” stories that inspire and encourage readers.
- Inspirational pieces that spread positivity and hope.
- Poetry that reflects the beauty and goodness of life.
- Writing prompts that inspire readers to reflect on their experiences and share their stories.
- Tips and advice for cultivating a positive mindset and lifestyle.
- Ideas for adding joy and happiness to daily life.
- Book reviews of inspiring or life-changing literature.
- Ultimately, we want to see whatever your heart desires to share with our community!
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. Follow and subscribe to Positivity Powerhouse.
2. Comment on this article with ‘add me as a writer’.
3. Read Medium’s guidelines here.
4. Positivity Powerhouse has a minimum or maximum word count of at least 500 words. You know your story. You know what you want to write.
5. Have a title and subtitle.
6. Have at least 2 images. Credit all images please.
7. Edit and polish before submission. We may do some light editing. If there are any major concerns or questions, we’ll leave you a note on the piece.
Except for poetry. Positivity Powerhouse doesn’t profess to know the first thing about poetic expression. So, if that’s the style of something you write for us, we trust you on this one and will publish as is, if accepted.
8. Feel free to add personal links or promotions. — — Feel free to tag others in your story, whether it be a name here or there, or a handful of names at the end as is common in many of the challenge stories.
- However — please don’t be excessive in tagging others. 20 names, 30, 40…that’s all good.
- But you know the ones I’m thinking of where there are 50–100 or more names tagged, randomly, not associated with the article or a following. Max 50 tags.
9. One firm rule — No hate. No bashing. No ugliness. But we doubt we need to tell you that. If you’re reading this and wanting to submit something, we know you’re looking for the good in life and not the nastiness.
10. Eleven topics are allowed. Please make one of them ‘Positivity Powerhouse’ — the other four can be any you choose.
Turnaround time is expected to be within 24–48 hours.
