Nowadays, almost every product is delivered in a packaging experience. But delivering a relevant packaging experience shouldn’t mean more components, parts or finishes.

At Possibility™, we work together with our partners to find the best balance between experience and sustainability. Supported by the 8 actions to develop a more sustainable solution, we think of packaging along the entire life cycle to maximize the value to customers and minimize the impact, from the raw materials, production method to shipping dimensions and end of life.

1. Design for packaging dimension and logistics optimization.

Dimension analysis was crucial to design the smallest packaging possible and maximize the number of units per palette. Less space. Fewer emissions. Less impact.

2. Partner with local suppliers.

We partnered up with the local supply chain. All the materials were sourced and produced with 90% of suppliers located within a 300 km radius. Less distance, less impact.

3. No use of plastic.

Our design process and coordination with suppliers made sure we delivered a zero plastic solution.

4. No glue in the packaging.

Glued paper is one of the reasons paper can’t be recyclable. Our design process made sure we had a zero glue solution.

5. Paper varnish compatible with recycling methods.

To facilitate the recycling and disassemble of the packaging at the end of its life, we carefully selected a paper varnish to assure a great texture and visual experience compatible with recycling methods.

6. Selected paper certified under FSC® standards.

Our material sourcing and suppliers are always compatible with FSC standards. This is one small step we took to protect our forests.

7. Integrated instruction manual.

To reduce the number of components, the packaging was designed as an educational experience. Fewer parts, less impact.
