How the Ego was Created… and What Happened Next

Once there was only one Ego.

Let’s call him The Supreme Ego.

He was lonely, so he created many egos so he would have other egos to talk with.

But all those egos spoke different languages.

It got very confusing.

One day the Supreme Ego said to his Chief Ego Inspector, “Find me an Ego who speaks my language.”

So, the ego inspector searched far and wide, but couldn’t find that one special ego.

He went back to his boss to give him the bad news.

In desperation, The Supreme Ego created the Id.

Then, language was not a problem, because the Id doesn’t need it.

Later, new problems arose.

The Id was hard to control.

In desperation, The Supreme Ego created the Super Ego.

And, to this day, all three jockey for control.

Who will win?

I don’t know.
