The Post Growth Institute (PGI) exists to show how economies, businesses, and communities can be designed for human thriving within ecological limits.
Are you working on a project that embodies circular or regenerative principles? Have you conducted research on a topic such as alternative economies, wellbeing-based growth, practical sustainability, or other post-growth perspectives?
Perhaps you’re passionate about living a post-growth life or you’ve found out about something happening in your community that you want to share with the world.
Whatever your angle, we accept both pitches and submissions. Browse our publication to get an idea of the type and range of articles we publish. In terms of length, around 1000 words is ideal.
Please contact comms[at] postgrowth [dot] org succinctly detailing your idea for an original article or attaching the completed piece. We are open to reposting relevant articles that have been published elsewhere under a Creative Commons license.
After you submit your pitch or article, our editor will be in touch to confirm whether the piece is a fit and arrange next steps. We’ll also provide full instructions for submitting your work through Medium.
If your article has already been published in another Medium publication, it cannot be featured on another publication, per Medium’s functionality. In this case, you will need to resubmit a second version the story; please contact us for further instructions.
When submitting content to the PGI, your work may be edited by our editor for flow, style, length, and readability. Our feedback will always be constructive and geared at gaining as wide and engaged an audience as possible for your work. In some cases, there may not be chance for a review, although we will attempt to connect if making substantial changes.
Articles published on the PGI publication are published under a Creative Commons Attribution, share alike license. We reserve the right to remove the post at any time.
If you’ve authored a book or mention one or more in your article, we may include an affiliate link to the publication.
We look forward to receiving your ideas!
