OnDMARC achieves trusted cybersecurity accreditation

We’re pleased to announce that OnDMARC has been awarded ISO 27001 accreditation, the industry bellwether for trusted data security service providers. As a DMARC provider, we act as a trusted partner to organisations of all sizes, integrating with their email communications systems in order to provide the insights they need to move towards full DMARC protection.

Recognised and externally audited standards such as ISO 27001 demonstrate that providers such as ourselves are serious about their security and the security of their customer data. Obtaining and maintaining this certification requires significant commitment to security across all levels of our organisation and, in combination with the Statement of Applicability, provides a comprehensive snapshot of our own cyber security posture. Ultimately, we are handling your data and we believe it’s right that we should be able to demonstrate our commitment to securing that data.

Organisations that are serious about their digital security should realise that their approach needs to extend to their choice of providers of critical services such as DMARC, especially given the potential sensitivity of the data being handled.

Computing Security Awards: We need your votes

One of the industry’s best-regarded specialist titles, Computing Security, has shortlisted OnDMARC in no less than five categories in its annual Computing Security Awards.

We’re proud to have been nominated for both Anti-Phishing Solution of the Year and Cloud Security Solution of the Year, whilst our parent company Red Sift has been shortlisted for the Anti Cybercrime Award, which recognises the organisation that has done the most to counter cybercrime over the past 12 months. Furthermore, Red Sift is being considered for both the prestigious ‘Editor’s Choice’ and ‘Best Project’ categories.

The Computing Security Awards are voted for by industry professionals — that means you! So please, if you get a moment, click here an vote for us.

99% of law firms failing to stamp out email spoofing

Recently we published new research demonstrating that, of the UK’s top 100 law firms, just one had fully implemented the DMARC protocol necessary to prevent email impersonation by cyber criminals. Congratulations to Walker Morris — to everyone else: please try harder, particularly given that the threat of phishing attacks increased by 65 percent last year.

The good folks at Computer Weekly, Computing and Information Age have all published stories about our legal sector research, so check out their articles if you want to learn more.
