Finding Essentials is Even More Convenient Now

Today we’re introducing two new categories on Postmates: Essentials & Convenience. Now when you’re looking for items like toothpaste, contact solution, nail polish remover, or Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, you can order by item — as if you were walking through the aisles of your favorite stores. These new categories can be found at the top of the app.

Essentials, powered by Walgreens, features everyday items like allergy medicine, bath and body needs, as well as paper products.

Convenience is a digital convenience store powered by 7-Eleven. Get Gatorade, chips, candy, Slurpees and anything else you crave delivered from your local 7-Eleven.

We’ve brought the Essentials and Convenience stores front and center in the app so that you don’t have to figure out which Walgreens or 7-Eleven is closest to you, we now do that for you. We power these new item-forward storefronts using the nearest location to you. This is live in all cities that have Walgreens/Duane Reade and 7-Eleven locations, available on the Postmates app and web, http://postmates.com/essentials and http://postmates.com/convenience.
