If one thing is clear from last week’s Boba Guys On-Demand promo, it’s that San Franciscans freakin’ love Bubble Tea. Quick refresher: we gave away FREE Boba milk tea for three days and the crowd went wild. It was almost like the Giants won the world series…again.
We took a closer look at the data, and thought it would be fun to share a few of our favorite insights. For starters, SF Postmates transported 768 boba drinks within a 10 hour period — that’s 1 boba every 46 seconds! And where did all these milk teas end up? Turns out techies love their bubble tea (no surprise there). 10% of orders were delivered to Twitter, Stripe, UCSF and Juma Ventures — a major concentration in SOMA.
Horchata, Jasmine, Thai, Iced Matcha Latte….with so many delicious options to choose from, these milk teas rank highest on the list of San Francisco’s tea aficionados:
