Postmates is now available to over 75 million people in the US

Today, Postmates is launching four new markets — New Orleans, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, bringing the largest on-demand delivery service to 44 total markets and 30 million households in the US.

Our customers in each market will have access to over 300 restaurants at the time of the launch, many of them only available via Postmates. Launch partners also include popular Postmates national partners such as Chipotle, Panda Express, Chili’s, 7-Eleven and Walgreens.

Postmates is the only delivery service that enables everyone to order from any restaurant or store in a city and have their items delivered in just a few minutes. Delivery fees start at $2.99 for over 6,000 in-network merchants. For a $9.99 monthly subscription (think Amazon Prime), get unlimited free deliveries with a minimum order of $25.

Postmates launched in 2012 and has very quickly grown to become the largest on-demand delivery service in the US. Postmates’ fleet of around 40,000 drivers and riders serve customers in 44 metropolitan markets. This May, Postmates celebrated 10 million total deliveries and has generated nearly 1/2 a billion dollars in GMV so far in 2016.

To celebrate the launch, Postmates is waiving delivery fees through November 1. Plus, the first 500 new customers to sign up in our four launch markets, will receive a $50 credit towards deliveries.
