Nashville, often referred to as Music City, is home to some of the best hot chicken and grits in the U.S. It is also arguably one of the coolest and most vibrant cities, bursting with a creative and innovative culture.

This is exactly why Postmates has chosen Nashville to be the new home of the customer service, merchant support and sales teams.

With the mission of being the local delivery infrastructure for every major city, Postmates is currently operating a fleet of over 60,000 in 44 US markets, completing 2M deliveries per month.

To that end, it’s time to expand the Postmates’ footprint beyond San Francisco and move into a new office space in Nashville — enabling us to grow at a rate that can keep up with the customer and service demands.

With the new space, the customer service and sales teams will have room to grow and provide better support. We currently have about 200 employees in Nashville, and will continue to grow the team, through the rest of the year.

Postmates CEO Bastian Lehmann, Mayor Megan Barry and Disney Bolin, Director of Customer Service

To commemorate the new office opening, the Mayor of Nashville Megan Barry along with Postmates CEO Bastian Lehmann spoke today at the new space to officially welcome the new team to Nashville.

“Nashville is the kind of city where young, tech-savvy people want to be, which gives us the workforce to attract exciting new tech companies like Postmates,” Mayor Megan Barry said. “I appreciate the investment Postmates has made in Nashville, and I’m thrilled that they’re here.”
