Another year down and it was definitely one for the books. We learned that Nick Jonas loves turkey burgers (dare we say as much as his wife?), Post Malone and Chrissy Teigen can never get enough sauce, and Better Call Saul fans were in desperate need of a Los Pollos Hermanos fix.

Postmates delivered from more than 200,000 restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and more in the United States and Mexico this year and we have kept tabs on the weird, wild, and wonderful orders that gave us laughs — and a few raised eyebrows. And now we’re sharing them with you, though most names have been redacted (for reasons that will become obvious).

The Day After

Our fans kicked off 2018 with a bang — with alcohol orders spiking by 164 percent! A third of them then realized Postmates is just as clutch for New Year’s Day — as we saw hundreds of orders on Tylenol, Advil, and Pedialyte.

Valentine’s Day

Here’s what else is clutch: getting Postmates to deliver your Valentine’s Day gift. A customer in North Carolina said “I need you to save my Valentine’s a$$. I need a dozen flowers, some form of stuffed animals, balloons, and a big box of chocolate,” adding “Don’t call me, my partner can’t know. I trust your judgment and by saving my a$$ I’ll tip you huge.” Our lips are sealed — mostly because we weren’t going to stick around to find out the end to that story.

Bad & Boujee

You know you’re boujee when you have us deliver a $3,400 dress from Stella McCartney to a New York restaurant…. because it’s Restaurant Week and you’ve presumably ruined the one you were wearing.

When Your Postmate Brings You Life

Our best tipper gave more than $11,000 this year on more than 600 orders.
When your Postmates can be trusted to bring anything, anywhere, we’d say they’re worth it. And no one knows this more than New Yorkers who tip more often than people in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Thanks New York.

Too Much Sauce? Never

What do you do when you have $1k burning a hole in your pocket? Order 332 items from Taco Bell. It’s unclear how many fire sauces were consumed with the order — but what is clear, is that you can never have too much sauce.

It Ain’t Over

We’re still minutes away from bringing you what you need, when you need it.
It doesn’t matter if what you need is something we can’t pronounce. We’ll figure it out and bring it to you (provided it’s legal). Check out here for even more of The Good, Bad and Juicy Cravings of 2018.
