This year, once again, Postmates is proud to support all the diverse members of the Postmates community across our fleet, our merchants, our employees and all the people who use Postmates to bring them anything, anywhere, anytime. This year is different, because on top of the pride celebration that we’re joining in the streets of LA, Nashville, and SF we have a new party to celebrate. Postmates Party one of our newest and most popular features showcasing trending restaurants in your area. We find it only appropriate to take this party and theme it for Pride, and to celebrate here’s a walkthrough of what Postmates is proudly doing to support our beautiful and diverse community.
Supporting the Human Rights Campaign (HRC)
Postmates is donating $10,000 to help the HRC continue their vital work. As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer civil rights organization, HRC fight every day to ensure the equal rights of LGBTQIA+ people so they can be open, honest, and safe at home, at work, and in communities everywhere. Sweetfin Rainbow Bowl
June 3rd — June 9th
We partnered with Celebrity Chef Susan Feniger to design a pride-themed bowl — exclusively available on Postmates in Los Angeles. The Rainbow Bowl will be featured from June 3rd to June 9th in the Postmates app. 25% of proceeds of every Rainbow Bowl order will be donated to Susan’s cause at the LA LGBT Center.
LA Pride
June 9th
We will be marching in the LA Pride Parade on June 9th with our very own float. We’re keeping it a surprise, but we can promise dancing and an extra special guest riding alongside us.
Nashville Pride
June 22nd
In Nashville, we’re celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots on June 22nd to commemorate the men and women that started the Gay Rights Movement. Postmates continues to stand with the LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce to speak out against restrictive laws in Tennessee. Catch 200 of our Nashville employees walking in the parade and say, “Hey!”
SF Pride
June 30th
San Francisco is the home of our HQ and the symbolic heart of queer rights. The city by the bay held the first ever gay bar, the first U.S. lesbian organization, the first gay community center, the first same-sex issued marriage license, and the first ever Pride Parade. We are thrilled to be part of this moment as we march alongside a very special guest on June 30th.
LGBTQIA+: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual/Ally. The PLUS (+) sign ensures that the queer community will always be inclusive of all identities.
