One of the most challenging things about Los Angeles — aside from the traffic — is answering the number one question your friends always ask: “What do you want to eat?”

Between the new restaurants that just opened and the old restaurants you know and love, picking a place feels damn near impossible.

To help relieve the pressure, we looked at some of the current best delivery spots across Los Angeles — and then threw in a couple Postmates favorites just to keep it fresh. So the next time your friends put the onus on you to decide where to order from, it’s no sweat. Let our list be your guide:

Beer Belly

If you’re on the hunt for fried chicken delivery or deep fried dessert delivery… or fried anything delivery, the search is over. Beer Belly is the reigning champ of comfort food in Los Angeles. Case in point, their menu is the definition of indulgence: grilled cheese, chicken wings, mac and cheese, French fries, fish and chips…need we say more?

The Counter

There is no burger you can dream up that The Counter cannot make. Seriously. The “Create Your Own Burger” option allows you to choose from 16 different protein types, including the trendy “Impossible Burger,” 11 bun (or no bun) styles, 13 types of cheese, 20 sauces, and 31 toppings. We can’t even calculate how many different combinations you can make from that. It’s a lot. Better get started.

Zinque

They have a bunch of great stuff on their menu, but we only have eyes for Le Bowl. Brown rice, avocado, tomato, arugula, comte, Parmesean, cilantro, sriracha, with chicken or an egg white frittata. LA’s eating this up right now — we can totally see why.

SUGARFISH

Sushi delivery in Los Angeles starts and stops with SUGARFISH. Their motto is “Simply Great Sushi,” and they mean it — this stuff is traditional sushi only. Popular picks from their to-go menu include salmon sushi and albacore sushi, but if you’re the adventurous type who loves a good omakase, choose from any of the “Trust Me’s.”

Shake Shack

It’s a hot debate about which is better: Shake Shack or In-N-Out. What’s not debatable is that ever since it arrived, Shake Shack delivery has been fueling Los Angeles on the reg. The orders don’t lie — LA loves a good ShackBurger and fries. Then again, who doesn’t?

DeSano Pizza Bakery

When you order pizza delivery from DeSano, you’re not just getting any old pizza. They take their Neapolitan pizza-making super seriously — it’s nothing if not authentic. And when you take a bite of any of their pies — the Margherita, Bianca, Diavlo — you really can taste the difference.

Wingstop

When you want wings, you go to Wingstop. It’s that simple. You could be dining solo, and the six-piece wing combo will satisfy, or you could be hosting a tailgate, and the 100-piece family pack better suits your needs. Whatever the occasion, just pick the number, the style, the sauce, and the sides. No need to complicate it. Just have those moist towelettes ready.

We didn’t put any donut delivery spots on our list, but there’s a reason for that—we devoted an entire blog post to snooping out the best donut delivery places in Los Angeles. Check it out.
