The Week We Launched Two Podcasts
As an Impact Fund Builder, Potential are committed to building funds that align with the UN SDGs and aim to have a positive impact on our world and the people in it. So far, we’ve launched 2 funds (and we’re currently working on our third!) working with a couple of incredible fund managers, Peet Denny at Climate VC and Mike Kelly at New Finance VC.
Alongside building funds, we also recognise that one of the ways to make an impact is through speaking people in our community and beyond, sharing knowledge, experiences and finding connections through aligned passions and goals. It’s one of our favourite things to do as a team and our journey to this point has allowed us to meet some amazing people.
For these reasons and more, this week has been an exciting one, where we’ve been able to combine conversations with impact, culminating in each fund launching a podcast:
The New Finance Podcast: A Sceptics Guide to New Finance
The New Finance Podcast is a series of discussions hosted by Mike Kelly and Kieran Parker-Moroney. New Finance VC operates at the intersection of crypto and regulated finance, and in similar style, the podcast presents a balanced view and insights about really exciting projects and ideas in these spaces.
Whether you’re a crypto OFG or an NFT newbie, there’s something for everyone as our hosts take us through a range of topics from DAOs, NFTs and gaming to DeFi, regulatory risks and philosophical takes on the crypto and blockchain arena.
