PowerEther is a number-matching lottery, juts like Powerball or Mega Millions, where people need to match numbers to win the jackpots. Just like in any other number-matching lottery, there is a range of numbers (from 1 to 10) to choose, and if the numbers match with the randomly generated ones — that’s a win!
Whenever a player loses a bid, that bid is added to the jackpot, so the grows on a daily basis until, eventually, a lucky person gets it all! The total cost of a bid is consisted of the bidding fee, the house cut, and the MegaJackpot fee.
Rules
There are three games in PowerEther:
- PowerOne — match one number out of ten to win (1 in 10 chance of winning).
- PowerTwo — match two numbers out of ten to win (1 in 100 chance of winning).
- PowerFour — match four numbers out of ten to win (1 in 5000 chance of winning).
- The winner of PowerFour also gets the MegaJackpot.
- If the MegaJackpot cap is reached, the first winner of any game gets the MegaJackpot!
How to play
To play PowerEther, you simply need the following:
- Install the MetaMask Chrome Extension.
- Get some Ether (as low as 0.03!) from, for example, here (for the U.S. citizens), or here.
- Go to www.powerether.co and start bidding!

PowerEther is 100% provably-fair. Anybody can view the serial number responses by watching event filters in Ethereum Wallet/Mist, coupled with the corresponding TLSNotary proofs.
