Phone2Action Teams Up With Facebook to Provide Social Good Developer Tools to Change the World

Three years ago, Phone2Action launched with a mission to provide civic technology that would enable socially conscious movements to solve the world’s biggest challenges.

Today we’re thrilled to announce that in addition to helping corporations, associations, and nonprofits create thousands of digital campaigns for social change– we’re also adding social good developers to the lineup by partnering with Facebook’s FbStart and Internet.org. Through this effort, social good developers will have access to Phone2Action’s digital advocacy platform and API.

Technology is more meaningful if it’s used to address important issues. And we want to provide developers, especially those in remote areas with less resources­, tech tools to amplify their social missions.

Thousands of people are already using Phone2Action to influence policy decisions, and advance social causes. This partnership will amplify that reach by making civic technology accessible to startups working on critical causes in remote countries around the world.
