PowerPool is a DePIN layer for executing transactions for Defi and AI protocols based on on-chain and off-chain triggers.

The main focus for PowerPool expansion are L2s with low gas fees, high TVL, and extensive user base. Recently, PowerPool DAO approved the proposal for L2s expansion and rewards focused on rollups, most demanded by Defi users and capital owners.

Transactions, automatically executed by PowerPool bring more value to users, AI Agents, and rollups themselves since it allows to generate more transaction fees.

The PowerPool ecosystem is growing rapidly as more chains and integrations are added:

In this article, we will provide a brief overview of the PowerPool ecosystem on Ethereum, Gnosis, and Arbitrum. Statistics for all chains are available in the Mulichain Dashboard.

Ethereum

Currently SupremeDAO is the main member of the PowerPool ecosystem on Ethereum. They received a PowerPool DAO grant for automated yield strategy development focused on ETH yield generation. The first strategy launched on the mainnet is the Genesis Strategy, initially released in test mode.

SupremeDAO provides a DeFi protocol aimed at offering transparent, community-driven, high-yield opportunities. They aim to simplify interactions with DeFi protocols and maximize returns through one-click access to automated multi-protocol strategies for safe and transparent high yield.

The full version of the algorithm specification is presented below:

  • Initially, the CDP on crvUSD.curve.fi is opened against the wstETH collateral and crvUSD is borrowed.
  • Next, crvUSD is swapped for USDC on Curve.
  • Then, liquidity is provided to the D2D/USDC pool on Balancer. The received LP tokens of the pool are staked on Aura.finance and generate yield from swap fees, plus AURA and BAL token rewards.
  • A share of the rewards is used to bribe the pool rewards via the Paladin protocol.
  • All rewards are swapped to wstETH and used to increase the initially deposited collateral, which is also the user’s capital, so rewards are directly compounded.

One important aspect of this algorithm is that it protects the position from liquidation risks. It regularly checks the CDP’s collateral health ratio, maintaining it above 30%. If the ratio drops below this threshold, farmed CRV tokens are automatically sold to purchase crvUSD and increase the health ratio.

Gnosis

Powerpool stats on Gnosis:

Gnosis was the first mainnet deployment for PowerPool. Since it is a low-fee chain, it suits great for automation in various ways, with more than 100 active Jobs launched.

One of the ecosystem partners using PowerPool for automation on Gnosis is Breadchain. Breadchain is a post-capitalist community of blockchain projects and protocols aimed at transparent public goods funding. PowerPool provides them with automatic funding for projects based on their governance decisions.

Breadchain is also a member of our Builder Grants program, which they achieved by incorporating decentralized and reliable automation into their projects.

Discussing other automation applications, it’s essential to highlight validators’ rewards claiming Jobs. These Jobs efficiently automate GNO rewards claims and seamlessly swap them for stablecoins or other assets.

Arbitrum

PowerPool stats on Arbitrum:

On Arbitrum, PowerPool currently automates operations for two protocols: Gearbox and Partitura. These automated processes enhance efficiency by managing complex tasks that would otherwise require significant manual intervention.

Partitura is a protocol that simplifies Web3 by offering Account Abstraction solutions, Automated Workflows, and Intent-driven AI. It allows users to create custom flows — a sequence of automated and bundled transactions:

Partitura created an integration of Safe’s account abstraction for PowerPool and also PowerPool DCA template. The project focuses on using PowerPool automation as an ecosystem infrastructure service for future products.

Gearbox is a protocol offering leveraged farming services, including leveraged points farming in popular protocols. PowerPool team found that rewards refilling for Gauge on Arbitrum could be automated, explored the Gearbox design, and created a Job that refills the Gauge with rewards.
