Few sponsorships left for 1st Seoul edition

Startup Guide is a publishing and media company that produces startup guidebooks and online content to help entrepreneurs navigate and connect with different startup scenes across the world. And PowerPT is proud to be an exclusive partner here in South Korea.

Founded in 2014, Startup Guide has created books for over 50 regions across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and North America, including Copenhagen, London, Tel Aviv, Cairo, Tokyo, and New York. They have two physical stores in Europe — one in Copenhagen and one in Lisbon, as well as hundreds of distribution partners around the world.

About the books

Based on traditional travel guidebooks, Startup Guide books help navigate and connect with different startup scenes across the globe. Each book has exciting entrepreneur stories, insightful interviews with local experts, and other useful tips and tricks.

How the books are made

To make sure each guide is accurate and trustworthy, Startup Guide teams up with a city partner that is established in the local startup scene. Then they ask the local community to nominate startups, founders, spaces, programs, investors and schools to be featured through an online submission form. The nominations are narrowed down before a local advisory board — which is selected by the city partner and consists of key players in the local startup community. The city partner works in close collaboration with the Startup Guide editorial and design team to help research, organize interviews with journalists, and arrange photoshoots. After editing and design are complete, the Startup Guide team sends the books to be printed in Berlin.

Join and be featured in Seoul’s 1st Startup Guide

So far, several corporates and government bodies active in Seoul’s startup ecosystem have signed up to sponsor Seoul’s 1st book. But, we have a few spots left!

Depending on the amount of sponsorship, your organization may be mentioned in a multi-page article in the “Expert Section” of the guide, along with an interview and professional photoshoot. You may also receive physical copies of the book, invitations and guest list tickets to the official launch event in Seoul, your logo on the partner page (hard copy and digital versions), mentions in the official press release and kick-off events, and more.

Sponsorship funding will close in March. If you are interested in featuring your organization, contact us today at innovations@powerpt.co.kr.
