Podium Star wrapped up its third pitch event on Wednesday at Seoul Startup Hub, where six exciting startups pitched to a panel of investment and marketing professionals. Podium Star emphasizes helping startups refine their pitches and messaging strategy. And unlike other pitch events, the judges give constructive criticism on the pitches and vote for the winner alongside the audience.

Six startups pitched to Divya J. Singh from Coupang, Tom Gilmore from Samsung, and Tyler Rasch from tāble. The judges have experience in marketing, investment, and startups, and gave valuable insight to the participants and the audience.

PowerPT hosted a pitch workshop for the startups prior to Podium Star to help them develop their pitches. The startups included BA Energy, GIVE.asia, Posture360, Shuttle Delivery, STUF, and Cloud Berry Farm.

At the end, the judges and audience gave first place to John Jin Soo Kim (김진수) from GIVE.asia, who received a golden ticket to pitch at Seoul Pitch Day in December. GIVE.asia is a crowdfunding platform for social impact that helps local causes in Asia receive international aid.

Podium Star returns for its Korean language edition on July 24th at Seoul Startup Hub. Interested startups can apply to pitch with the following link: https://forms.gle/zqTzTBE2C1bLTUis6
