At PowerSage, we help people to be efficient, and seek sustainable behaviors. So, naturally we enjoy seeing other markets advancing “green practices.” Especially when big names dedicate themselves to the cause.

We thought we’d give a shout out to some especially well-known Eco Warriors! Because if you care about sustainability, why not shop like it?

H&M

H&M is now dedicating itself to the goal of using 100% sustainable or recycled materials by 2030. They are already producing clothing that’s developed from 43% organic sources. And, they have created ways for customers to drop off unwanted clothing to be recycled.

Adidas

Adidas is one of the only sporting goods companies that publish an annual Sustainability Report. They have found ways in the past to use less water, chemicals, and produce less waste in production. They encourage their customers to take action themselves, and continue to lead the way by being transparent in their sustainability journey.

Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola has become the first Fortune 500 Company to successfully replace the water it uses globally. They are leading massive recycling projects, and pursuing more sustainable packaging of their products. They are also actively looking for ways to cut back on harmful emissions, and stay fair in the workplace.

Apple

Nearly 100% of all the electricity used by Apple is sourced through renewable energy. They’re even committing to bringing renewable energy to their suppliers. And, they’re working on only using recycled materials in their products. Apple is a big figure on the “green” frontline.

Toyota

Toyota is striving to not only eliminate their environmental impact, but to even achieve net-positive. They are striving to reduce their water use, emissions, and are creating a recycling society.

And more!

There are plenty of industry-giants that are pursuing sustainability — and that’s the great part. We’re proud to be growing in such a green era.

Our challenge: seek out those doing something to effect change!
