I tend to think that a day is wasted if I learned nothing new. I hate wasting time, and I always try to find ways to optimize and accelerate my own learnings.

As my days tend to be pretty busy, I need to carefully optimize my time. To be able to keep learning while brushing teeth, showering, eating, walking, driving, lifting and running - I consume books. Lots and lots of books. I use the word ‘consume’ because I mostly listen to them.

Today I want to share my Top 5 picks I consumed in 2019.

What is an investor? Can you be one? What is the difference between an investor and a speculator? What should you consider when investing your next pay-check? This book is one of the best investments you can make in your financial future.

An amazing collection of stories from a red-hot war zone with a profound leadership lessons learned from each story.

Very interesting negotiating techniques from someone who knows. As a bonus you’ll hear some unbelievable stories from hostage negotiations to negotiating a price of a car.

Have you ever wondered what happens in those closed rooms of huge corporations during acquisitions? Take overs? Mergers? Political wars? This book will take you on an unforgettable journey as seen by the Disney CEO.

The neoclassical economics is based on a strong assumption that people are rational. This book will dive deep in all aspects of your life, and show you how irrational we really are. This is the second time I read this book, and this time it felt even more powerful than the first.

If you have a book recommendation for me — please post it in the comments. I’ll be eternally thankful!

Shonn
