PPC Bee VS case studies
There’s nothing difficult about it. You take data from the application, get data from the client, and voilá, the case study is in the world! However, it isn’t so simple, unfortunately. There’s always work that has to be done that has higher priority right at the moment you’d like to start working on a case study. This was exactly our and our client’s case. For a long time, we had been racking our brains trying to figure out how to get on top of our priorities — as well as not bothering our clients — with whom we wanted to cooperate with on the case study.
We asked ourselves how to make the ultimate case study that would provide us with as much information as possible about the performance and quality of PPC Bee. We finally got it! We are going to share with you an effective way of getting the data in the following article. And it might just come in handy to you ;).
As it usually happens, if you don’t know what to do, you can follow the methodology. In this case, a research one. More specifically, a good old interview. A well built interview. An interview tailored to a particular client, because each of them is using PPC Bee for slightly different purposes, with different default conditions, and different goals.
It is important not to underestimate the preparation necessary for the interview. We had created a so-called ‘battery of questions’ and a scenario we were trying to keep. The magic of individual interviews resides in the fact that we know both the client and their needs extremely well from the work in the application. This means we can go further than this information and find out more. You are just talking during an interview. And giving much more information than you ever would be willing to fill in with a feedback form. Every word is appreciated and recorded. Another step is the tedious phase of transcription. When you have the raw data available, you give it a face. By that, I mean the format and relevant content. If there is something that you didn’t find out, you can ask the client later. This is easier for clients to respond to, because these are things that are not as time-consuming. And the best thing for the clients is that they don’t have to leave the warmth of office- we will visit them. We realize that being in their own environment brings a necessary level of comfort and relaxation to the interview.

“ We spent two pleasant hours chatting and preparing for a future case study together with the boys, that we ended up (how else) with shot of local Juniper brandy, when we came to them up to the Bratislava. It’s always so nice to meet the client in person. We combined business with pleasure. We hope that the UI42 team will soon arrive in Prague, so we can reciprocate the Juniper brandy:)”
