BisaGo Visual Design Comparison
In this article, I will be comparing the visual design of the BisaGo with On Wheels.
BisaGo is an application that supports people with disabilities to search for particular locations and find out whether those locations have facilities that support them. While On Wheels, is an app that redefines accessibility in an urban environment for wheelchair users. Like BisaGo, On Wheels provide information regarding a location, whether it is accessible for wheelchairs or not.
From the explanations, we can see that BisaGo and On Wheels have a similar purpose, which is to provide information for people with disabilities. Although BisaGo also provides information for other disability types, On Wheels focuses on providing information for people with physical disabilities, mainly for those who use wheelchairs. From here, we can also see that the personas used would be similar.
It’s important to note that the elements compared are the ones that have similar purposes.
The first thing we can see when we first open the app is the dashboard. The dashboards between these two apps are very similar and simple. Both of them have a search button. The difference is that BisaGo also shows the favorite locations, while On Wheels provides the filter feature so the user will be able to pick specific locations.
The next thing we can see is the search results page. The pages are simple, yet a little different. BisaGo shows the picture of the location, while On Wheels shows the type of location(restaurant, shop, etc.). All in all, they both have simple and straightforward designs.
Next is the add location page, or at BisaGo, it will be the add Information/Facility page. Both BisaGo and On Wheels use fields to add information regarding a certain location. They could also input pictures of the facility that supports people that use wheelchairs.
Below, we can see that to see the facilities that are provided at a location, BisaGo has a specific page to show all of the facilities, while On Wheels uses a popup located on the dashboard to show the facilities. The popups will appear when the location tag/button is pressed.
