Design Thinking: Creative problem solving for FinTech startups

Design thinking is a methodology used for problem-solving in Fintech which consists in, first, defining the problem, and then, implementing the solutions.

FinTech Startups benefit from using a design thinking approach to see the industry through the customer’s eyes. To hit customers expectations successfully, Fintech startup owners should look outside the traditional interaction of the user with online services. Most of them are complicated and confusing.

Collaboration with design thinking agency and user experience orientation is a great strategy for flexible product innovation and new features scaling in traditional FinTech environment.

Ability to dive into the customer-centric testing approach we can consider analyzing a marketing campaign for one local FinTech. The company spent a lot of money on a marketing campaign on YouTube channel via banners with a target audience 25–35 years. The conversion was very low, so we made an investigation of a problem. We realized that the core problem was in using the AdBlock feature. So the advertisement had no chance to reach potential customers.
