We all have that person who loves playing the victim in our lives. They always have to be rescued from trouble, and they’re always in the middle of some huge crisis. Everyone and everything else is to blame. This type of person isn’t capable of taking on their own mistakes or taking action to improve their own lives.

What about these traits in ourselves, though? Easy as it is to spot the victim outside, what about the one we’ve empowered inside? While we like to point the finger at others, we often find a lot of these traits within ourselves.

Have you confronted the victim within? Have you honestly faced those moments when you blame the world instead of your own independent choices? Now is your chance. Playing the victim will never take you where you think you will. In fact, it will make you more powerless in your skin, your relationships, and your future.
