Since it’s a new year, I’m sure there’s more than one of you out there who has committed to losing weight. Well, if you’re anything like me that can be a challenge. Eating is the best, am I right?

Unfortunately, eating all the time doesn’t equal weight loss. That’s where these 5 delicious treats come in. Try these snacks whenever you’re feeling hungry. Not only are they great for you, but they help clean the toxins from your system — and you can eat as much of them as you like! Yep, you heard that right. You can eat as many of these treats as you want. Guilt free.

“If you’re looking to boost your body’s natural detox pathways, choosing one of these five detox foods can provide health benefits, including promoting a healthy weight,” says Jaclyn Shusterman, RDN, CD, and Arivale Coach.

So without further ado, I bring you:

The 5 Yummiest Detox Diet Treats You Can Eat Non-Stop

5. Berries

Berries are a low-sugar, low-calorie, high fiber superfood that is packed with antioxidants. Okay, you may not be able to eat this one “non-stop” (unless you’re particularly fond of a runny #2) but you can put these away without worrying about wrecking your diet or stacking up those empty calories. Almost any berry will do, and you can eat enough of them to feel full without feeling guilty.

4. Fresh Herbs

If you can, you should keep fresh herbs in your kitchen at all times. Herbs like cilantro, basil and parsley add color to meals and also contain fantastic antioxidants that fight free radicals. Fresh herbs are also jam-packed with all kinds of great vitamins and nutrients that our bodies need to replenish, repair and regenerate. By increasing the amount of herbs in your food, you can also decrease your salt intake and therefore your caloric intake.

3. Allium Vegetables

When I say allium veggies, I’m talking leeks, onions, garlic and chives — veggies that all serve as natural detox pathways. This family of tasty treats are packed full of flavor, but have very few calories, so they’re great to add to diet foods that might be “less than flavorful.”

2. Leafy Greens

Working on weight loss can sometimes mean you need a boost. Leafy greens are that perfect boost. Packed full of nutrients like iron, vitamin A and vitamin C, they are good for you and also filling — the perfect combination. Most leafy greens also contain a high amount of insoluble fiber which help to clean out the GI tract and keep you regular. If you’re not a leafy green regular, try favorites like spinach, kale or Swiss chard.

1. Water

Hah! Did you think you were going to get past a detox list without being hit with the old water trick? Not on my watch.

Water is good for your skin, your kidneys, and it can help prevent you from overeating. Many times, when we think we’re hungry, we’re actually just thirsty. “If you’ve eaten a breakfast containing some complex carbs (like oatmeal) and some protein (like nuts) and are feeling hungry within a couple hours, you may actually be thirsty, so try water first. Don’t like water? Try spicing it up by adding fresh fruit like orange, lemon or lime.

Putting it all together…

So, if you want tasty treats that don’t wreck your weight loss journey, give these 5 foods a try. Whether you’re craving sweet berries, or just need a bit more filling fiber in leafy greens — there’s a snack out there for you. Get out there and creative!
