Where are you at in this life? Do you have the relationships you want? The career or the family? What does your future look like? Is it the future you imagined for yourself?
We take different paths in this life. Some of them lead us where we want to be, and some of them lead us in a totally opposite direction.
The only genuine control we have is the choice we make. We get to choose what journey we go on, but we don’t get to choose what happens to us on that journey.
That’s why most people choose the easiest course in life. Who wants to set themselves up for more hardships when you can’t predict the future or who you’re going to be on the other side?
Enormous problems come with choosing the easiest path in life, though.
If you’re serious about becoming a better person — if you want that dream life and that sense of fulfillment on the other side — then you have to get wiser about the paths you choose in this life.
