Are you on a trauma healing journey that’s doesn’t seem to get you where you want to be? Healing the emotional wounds is often not enough. We have to look deeper at the way our trauma affects us and start considering the significant physical wounds that are left behind.

The dysregulated nervous system is one of those wounds. Fried and overstimulated by the adverse experiences we encounter, when we’re living with a dysregulated nervous system, we end up suffering with a host of symptoms that lower the quality of our lives and destroy your relationships.

Are you living with a nervous system that’s out of whack? The only way you’re going to calm it down is by accepting where you’re at and learning everything you can with compassion and understanding.

What is nervous system dysregulation?

A nervous system on the fritz is nothing to laugh about. When someone is living in this state, they can find every aspect of their lives turned upside down. Sympathetic systems, parasympathetic systems, the dorsal vagus, and the ventral vagus can all get activated. Our systems get stuck in “fight vs. flight vs. freeze” and that comes with physical costs…
