When we can’t break out of these self-sabotaging cycles, we end up developing beliefs and mindsets that keep us there. If you want the freedom of relationships that are fulfilling and fair, then you have to reshape these beliefs. Once you go through a couple of bad breakups, or a couple of traumatic relationships, you end up developing beliefs about what relationships mean in general.
