Passive aggressive behavior is more than just annoying. In many circumstances, it can be downright toxic. Parents, partners, and even best friends can engage in passive aggressive behavior that damages our reputations and our self-esteem. You can’t put up with someone that emotionally dangerous in your life. The only thing to be done is to set boundaries and draw the line between them and your wellbeing.

When passive aggressive behavior becomes insidious.

Is their passive aggressive behavior crossing the line? When our finances, career, social groups, and sense of self-are being damaged — it’s time to change the narrative. Any behavior that hurts you or your life is a step too far. Protecting yourself, though, means you must confront the truth of your situation.
