Social media is a double-edged sword, one side of the blade is a useful tool to help you in life, and the other side is a sharp and dangerous weapon that will slice you up like a fine ham if you don’t give it the respect it deserves.

And no one wants to end up as sliced ham. Especially pigs. Or vegans. Or vegan pigs.

The point is that social media can be a great source of learning and education if you let it, but you’ve just got to wield that heavy sword correctly.

And almost no one can. It takes skill and handiwork and a deity level of resistance to dopamine hits and videos of cats.

In this short piece, I want to tell you about a video that is more on the side of education than on the side of cats (sorry).

Tell us about the video, already!

Ok, ok. So I was watching an old video that someone had uploaded to TikTok featuring a motivational speaker called Brian Tracy. In it, he said this:

“Don’t talk about negative things as you increase them and draw more of them into your life.” – Brian Tracy
