In 2022, I gave up on LinkedIn.

After months of lacking clarity on where I wanted my career to go, I felt it wasn’t worth the effort.

Fast forward to September 2024, I got clear on what I wanted and decided to give the platform another chance.

In just four months, I doubled my income.

I have always seen others talk about the power of LinkedIn, but I never thought it would work for me.

It seemed like success on the platform was reserved for a select few.

1. Fail fast

One of the biggest shifts I had to make was embracing failure — and doing it quickly.

When I returned to LinkedIn, the platform was nothing like how I left it.

More people were sharing content, which meant you had to do more to stand out.

I took the “fail fast” approach.

I stopped waiting for the perfect post or strategy.
