Many successful people say that the basis of their success is the right attitude to time or time management. It determines how far you will go and how quickly you can achieve your goals.

Add more “days” to your day

Forget about the 24-hour day. Instead of thinking of your day as a single block of time, divide your waking hours into three equal parts — mini-days. “Day One” might be from 6 a.m. to noon. “Day Two” might be from noon to 6 p.m., and “Day Three” might be from 6 p.m. to midnight.

By creating shorter days, the brain begins to value every minute more.

You won’t waste time because your sense of urgency will strengthen. You’ll be even more focused on what needs to be done “today.” This strategy allows you to fit work, relationships, productivity, fitness, and fun into shorter, more intense chunks of time.

Don’t forget, though, that there still needs to be balance in your life. You just need to squeeze the useless air out of the wasted parts of your day.

Treat time with a greater sense of urgency
