A Day in the Life of a Full-Time Remote Worker Who Writes Online

I grew up mesmerized by people who were busy and happy.

I couldn’t figure out what would make them love tackling tasks for most of the day. How do they do that and come away with a smile?

Wouldn’t they want to work for themselves and not for anyone else?

My awakening thought was simple: mindset is everything.

When you have a goal, you appreciate the journey. You soak it all in. This is true even if that means you’re not your own boss 24/7.

Every screw-up is a lesson. Every bottleneck is a chance to optimize the process.

You learn this by being in the jungle, not by watching it on TV.

So here’s what a typical day in my life looks like as a full-time designer and part-time hustler.

Monday-Friday

5AM: Wake up

This has to be one of the hardest things to do. Waking up this early isn’t normal. That’s why I like it.

I’d be lying through my teeth if I said I didn’t struggle with sleeping in a little longer. But it seems like my days are longer and more productive when I wake up early to get things done.
