How I Build Online in 1 Hour a Day
Without quitting your day job
If there’s one idea that changed things for me it’s this: you can keep your day job and build on the internet.
In fact, you should.
People love to hate on the 9-to-5. They tell you it’s where dreams go to die, that the rich don’t work for other people, that you’re trapped working on somebody else’s dreams.
It leads to unhappy people, desperate to get out of a situation they are in.
But, it’s just a distraction. I spent years hating my 9-to-5 and made zero progress on the internet. The moment I stopped and put my focus elsewhere, things started to change.
And I realized there was an alternative…
Don’t believe the hype
Here’s the deal. I’ve hated my 9-to-5 at some points in my career. I’ve also rather quite enjoyed it. I’ve also hated building online, and I’ve loved it.
The point? Not all jobs and entrepreneurial pursuits are created equal. The trick is to ignore the noise and focus on you.
Ask yourself:
- What gives me joy?
- What do I like to do?
- What could I focus on for hours?
