I put the GlocalMe portable hotspot through its paces in my review, and I’ll let you know what we thought honestly about the good and the bad.

We’re always looking for dependable, quick Wi-Fi, just like many of you. For us, having fast internet is essential because we travel frequently (when the globe permits), work from home or on the go, and occasionally home-school our children.

GlocalMe G4 PRO Wifi Hotspot Device

Glocalme Review

The GlocalMe G4 PRO, the actual device I examined for this review, is essentially a touchscreen data Wi-Fi hotspot that enables you to connect up to 10 devices to the Internet at once. It fits in your back pocket or bag and functions practically anyplace there is cellular coverage in the world.

Here is my review of GlocaMe’s main product since I’m using the GlocalMe G4 PRO in particular.

Pros

  • 140+ countries have access to the internet
  • pay as you go
  • is also a power bank
  • supports 4g LTE at rates of up to 50 Mbps upstream and 150 Mbps downstream, depending on the connection.
  • Easily readable touchscreen with battery and data remaining information
  • lengthy battery life of 18 hours
  • no sim card is necessary
  • is able to connect up to 10 devices.

Cons

  • Finding what you need in data packages can be a little complicated
  • can weigh down your pocket a little (not in backpack & Handbags)

Glocalme Download Speed

The first thing I did after starting GlocalMe was to perform a speed test. My connection appeared as 28 Mbps right away. Not too shabby for a debut. That’s more than enough speed for a 4K movie to stream. Although the upload speed was limited to 6 Mbps, it was more than sufficient for our needs.

Why Get A Mobile Wifi Device?

When compared to cell phone roaming fees, a portable WiFi hotspot can save you a ton of money. Additionally, it solves the issue of data restrictions while traveling and allows families and groups of friends to connect together without having to purchase individual SIM cards. Additionally, it makes traveling between Europe or nearby nations that call for a sim card easier.

By using a dedicated WiFi device, you may connect a laptop, tablet, or other WiFi device to the internet while also extending the battery life of your cellphone (in contrast to using it as a hotspot).

It's great to have internet access everywhere because we need it for job and school wherever we travel. i.e., stop utilizing the infamously unstable free Wi-Fi provided by hotels, cafes, or businesses.

While we frequently stay in AirBnBs while traveling for extended periods of time, having a different way to access the internet while we’re out and about is great and prevents us from having to research local phone options, pick up a SIM (which isn’t always possible if you’re not a local), and then activate it.

Having our laptops connected and being able to use the internet simultaneously while all 4 of us are together makes everyone happy.

Glocalme G4 Pro Review

The GlocalMe G4 PRO actually made a lasting impression on me.

I had never used a touchscreen travel Wi-Fi hotspot before the G4 crossed my desk. In order to check how much data or battery life I had left on other hotspots, I had to rely on the app. All of the information is available on the GlocalMe G4 PRO's 5 inch touchscreen directly.

The touchscreen makes it simple to add new data, and it already has TripAdvisor and Google Maps installed. With its basic UI and few but necessary features, it actually has a lot in common with a cellphone, making it comfortable to use to set up new items.

GlocalMe G4 PRO

The G4 PRO is especially fantastic for our family of four because it can connect to 10 devices. There are six more connections available for laptops, tablets, and other devices after we have each connected our smartphones.

It's convenient to have a 3900 mAh battery that can last up to 18 hours for road trips or even just wandering around town. Although we haven't yet tested that limit, it appears to keep a charge effectively.

Data packages for the GlocalMe G4 PRO include free 8 GB of local data and 1 GB of global data. More information can be added at any moment via the Glocal me touchscreen.

Additional G4 PRO features:

  • two nano SIM card slots.
  • Automatic setting that blocks heavy data usage
  • Option to charge your phone using the gadget
  • A USB 2.0 port and the ability to rapid charge through USB C
  • Cost: $169.00 (as of now when review published, price may differ)

Glocalme App

You can download the GlocalMe app for iOS or Android. You may upload data, keep track of consumption, and check the battery life.

The GlocalMe U3 wireless gadget, which lacks a touchscreen, benefits the most from the app.

Glocalme U3

The GlocalMe U3 is a more compact and reasonably priced Wi-Fi hotspot from GlocalMe. The absence of a touchscreen on the U3 is, in my opinion, its biggest drawback.

  • Light and slim
  • Connects to 10 devices
  • Cost: $119.99 (may differ)
  • Free 8 GB of local and 1 GB of international data are included
  • Lacks a touchscreen, therefore setting up the device requires a connected phone or tablet.

Glocalme Duo Turbo

For those who just cannot lose internet, the Duo Turbo is the best option. It is a dual-modem Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot, which means that two modems are present to provide continuous communication. The likelihood of dropped connections is decreased since one modem is active while the other is in standby mode.

  • Small 2.4″ touchscreen
  • 12 hour battery life
  • 3,500 mAh battery
  • Single nano SIM slot
  • Cost: $149.99 (may differ)
  • Data included: Free 8 GB Local Data + 1 GB Global Data

Glocalme Data Plans

Each of the three GlocalMe hotspots comes with 1 GB of global data and 8 GB of local data for free.

Following that, GlocalMe provides local or international pay-as-you-go data plans.

You can purchase 30-day, 7-day, or monthly passes. You may also purchase data in packages of 10 GB, 12 GB, 3 GB, and other sizes.

For the USA, North America, China, Europe, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Russia, and Egypt, local packages are offered. Additionally, there is a Global 10GB 180-Day Package.

The cost of the GlocalMe data plan is based on the location and volume of data you use.

Unlimited data is included in a monthly pass for the USA, which costs $99 USD.

The cost of a 10 GB, 180-day global bundle is $98 USD.

My GLOCALME DATA PLANS

Glocalme Unlimited Data

GlocalMe: Is it really limitless?

GlocalMe has the following to say. "The Fair Usage Policy of service operators is impacted by the unlimited data service; the maximum data speed will restrict to 256kbps once you have reached the FUP threshold." That implies to me that if you consume a lot of data at once, your speed (and subsequently the amount of data you utilize) may be constrained. The amount of data that exceeds the Fair Use Policy is unfortunately not specified.

In addition, various data packages have various priority. For instance, GlocalMe claims that the 10GB 180-Day Global BIZ option "has lower priority than the unlimited data package."

Glocalme Sim

A SIM-only plan is not currently available from GlocalMe.

It does, however, provide the GlocalMe SIMBOX.

Where did I buy Glocalme ?

I bought this gadget on Amazon and you can too. As well as you can also buy from their official website.

Glocalme Coverage Map

Over 140 nations across the world use GlocalMe. It only functions in areas where there is a cell service, just like any other WiFi hotspot, including the Skyroam Solis, Tep Travelwifi, or Keepgo. Where there isn’t a consistent cellular signal, such in the middle of the ocean or an airplane, it won’t function.

That’s it for today’s review, clap and follow for more reviews like this. Thank for reading. Have A Nice Day.
