JFK Assassination: The Magic Bullet Wasn’t Magic

What is “The Magic Bullet”?
The magic bullet, CE 399, is said to have been fired from Lee Harvey Oswald’s assassin’s perch on the sixth-floor corner window of the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD) on November 22, 1963.
According to the Warren Commission, CE 399 struck JFK in the back, exited his throat, struck Texas Governor John Connally in the back, exited his chest, and went through Connally’s wrist, before finding temporary refuge in his thigh.
That’s seven wounds caused by one bullet: entrance/exit (JFK), entrance/exit (Governor Connally’s back), entrance/exit(Governor Connally’s wrist) and entrance (Governor Connally’s thigh.)
The need for a magic bullet
Because the majority of the witnesses to the assassination reported hearing three shots, the Warren Commission declared that there were, in fact, three shots.
But a home movie shot by a bystander, Abraham Zapruder, clearly showed that President Kennedy and Governor Connally were struck almost simultaneously.
